Mavery Davis is a CPA, community organizer, and financial literacy advocate dedicated to breaking poverty and creating wealth. He serves as a USFWC Co-op Clinic Peer Advisor and board member, as well as the Director of Lending at New Economy Works West Virginia (NEW WV), part of Seed Commons, where he connects cooperatives with vital financial resources.
As the founder of the Financial Literacy Bootcamp (FLBC), Mavery works with young people in West Virginia to teach them about money management, financial psychology, and building collective wealth. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at West Virginia State University and a guest teacher at Makeshop Design Lab.
A member-owner of the Ajani Group Co-op, Mavery is passionate about cooperative economics and helping communities thrive through education, collaboration, and financial empowerment. His work aims to uplift individuals and foster long-term, community-driven prosperity.
