Roy Tatem Jr. is the President and Founder of Vanguard Strategies and Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in community outreach, strategic planning, crisis management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. With over 10 years of experience, Roy helps organizations navigate challenges and achieve growth through tailored, results-driven strategies.

Roy’s expertise extends to political advocacy and grassroots organizing. He served as Senior Political Director for Arizona Coalition for Change and as Deputy Director of African American Outreach for the Bernie 2016 Campaign, where he successfully engaged new voters and led outreach efforts. He is also a dedicated NAACP Political Action Co-Chair and Chairperson of the Arizona Secretary of State’s Voter Engagement Advisory Board.

A long-time member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Roy has held various leadership positions, including Chapter President, and is active in community service, raising funds for March of Dimes and mentoring youth. Through his work, Roy is committed to fostering positive social change, empowering communities, and supporting business growth.
